Player safety

Self-exclusion

A player's request to be blocked from gambling for a defined period or permanently. Once set it cannot be lifted early, marketing must stop, and in several markets the exclusion has to be honoured across a national scheme rather than one brand.

What it means for an operator

The failure that ends up in enforcement action is almost always the same: an excluded player receives a promotion, or reopens an account through a second brand in the same group.

Scalara holds self-exclusion as a state on the account core, so no campaign can reactivate it, and runs separate identity per brand so a group can honour exclusions brand by brand. National scheme obligations remain yours as the licensed operator.
