What we do not do, and what covers it instead
Four systems we do not replace, a licence we provide on only one of our two routes, and money we never hold ourselves. Each one with the honest alternative beside it.
The scope boundary
The four systems we do not replace
Stated plainly, because a cost comparison that hides them is useless to the person making the decision.
CRM and campaign automation
We do not run player campaigns for you. The platform supplies the bonus engine, the brand controls and the player data a marketing operation needs. You bring the operation.
Customer data platform
We hold the operational record of a player, not a unified marketing profile assembled across your other channels. If you buy a customer data platform today, keep budgeting for it.
Business intelligence suite
The back office reports on the operation it runs. It is not a warehouse and not a modelling tool, and we would rather say so than let a dashboard imply otherwise.
Affiliate management
We do not provide affiliate tracking, attribution or payouts, and we do not run acquisition on your behalf.

Both routes run the same platform. What changes across this table is who holds the licence and who buys what sits beside it.
The licence we provide, and the one we do not
On the White Label route you trade under our gaming licence, and the licence, the verification stack and the payment orchestration arrive with the platform. That is the point of the route.
On the Turnkey Platform route you hold your own licence. Ours does not cover you, does not appear in your terms and is not part of what you are buying. You keep your own payment relationships and your own regulatory obligations, and you take the platform layer underneath them.
Either way the compliance decisions are yours. We supply the checks, the tiers, the gates and the record. You decide which markets to accept, where the thresholds sit and what happens to an escalated case. On White Label we also carry our own obligations as the licensee, which is why a new casino needs both platform approval and your own explicit launch.
What sits outside the Scalara fee
Charged by someone else
Payment processing fees charged by the payment providers
Game content royalties agreed directly with the studios
CRM, customer data platform, business intelligence and affiliate tools
Your own marketing and acquisition spend
Scoped with you rather than priced on a page
Jurisdiction fit for your target markets
Assessed with you during discovery, before anything is committed.
Provider mix and any integration specific to your operation
Migration of an existing player base
Commercials for a portfolio rather than a single brand
We would rather be explicit about the boundary than let you find it after signing.
Questions about the boundary
No. We do not provide affiliate management, campaign automation or a customer relationship management tool, and we do not run acquisition on your behalf.
The platform gives you the brand controls, the bonus engine and the player data that a marketing operation needs, and you bring the marketing operation. We would rather be explicit about the boundary than let you find it after signing.
On the Turnkey Platform route you keep your own payment relationships, because you hold the licence and the operation. On White Label, payments run through the orchestration that sits under our licence, which is part of what the route provides.
If you have an existing provider you need to keep, raise it in discovery. The answer depends on the route, the market and the provider, and we would rather scope it properly than agree in principle and renegotiate later.
You are, and we build the platform so that you can be. We supply the checks, the tiers, the gates and the record. You decide which markets to accept, where thresholds sit, what evidence each tier requires and what happens to an escalated case.
On the White Label route we also carry our own obligations as the licensee, which is why a new casino needs both platform approval and your explicit launch. Neither of us can sign that off alone.
Talk to us about scope before you compare anything
Tell us what you run today and we will tell you which parts we replace, which parts we do not, and which parts we would leave exactly where they are.
We reply within one working day.
