Player safety
Deposit limit
A cap on how much a player can pay in over a day, week or month, set by the player or imposed by the operator. Increases must take effect only after a cooling off period, while decreases are expected to apply immediately.

What it means for an operator
The asymmetry is the whole control. A limit a player can raise instantly in the middle of a session is not a limit at all, and regulators treat it as evidence that safety was designed as a formality.
Scalara enforces limits in the account core, alongside the compliance tier that already decides what a player may deposit and withdraw, so both checks happen before money moves.
