Player funds segregation

Holding player balances separately from the operator's own working capital, so that player money is identifiable and protected if the business fails. Several regulators require it, and most require the arrangement to be disclosed to players.

What it means for an operator

Segregation is a banking and licensing arrangement rather than a platform feature, so no vendor can provide it for you. What a platform must do is make the position evidenceable: an accurate, auditable liability figure at any moment, with bonus and locked balances kept out of it.

Scalara's ledger gives you that figure. The account structure and the regulatory disclosure remain yours as the licensed operator.
