Net gaming revenue, Hold, House edge

Part of the Scalara iGaming glossary, written for operators choosing a platform.

What it means for an operator

GGR is the number to check when comparing platform contracts, because a share of GGR and a share of net gaming revenue are very different obligations at the same headline percentage.

Scalara charges revenue share on GGR, with the rate tapering in bands as monthly GGR grows and each rate applying only to the revenue inside its own band. The bands and a worked example are on the pricing page.
