Compliance

Sanctions screening

Checking a player against government and international sanctions lists at onboarding and repeatedly afterwards. A confirmed match is not a risk to be priced. It is a prohibition, and continuing to serve the account exposes the operator directly.

What it means for an operator

The failure mode is a stale check. Lists are updated constantly, and a player screened once at signup can appear on one two years later without doing anything visible on your platform.

Scalara runs screening automatically after approval through Sumsub, and the result feeds the compliance tier the wallet consults before money moves. What you do with a match, including reporting, remains your obligation as the licensed operator.
