Provably fair
A cryptographic method, common in crypto casinos, that lets a player verify a game outcome was not altered after their bet. The operator publishes a hashed seed beforehand and reveals it afterwards, so the result can be checked independently.

What it means for an operator
It proves one narrow thing: that a specific outcome matched a commitment made before the bet. It does not prove the maths is fair, that the return to player is what is claimed, or that the operator is solvent.
Conventional certification by an independent test house answers different questions. Players who ask for provably fair usually want transparency, and the honest response is to explain which assurance you actually have.
