Hit frequency
How often a game returns any win at all, expressed as a share of spins. It is distinct from both return to player and volatility: a game can pay something on a third of spins and still return very little, because most of those wins are smaller than the stake.

What it means for an operator
Hit frequency is the number players feel most directly, because it governs how often something happens. It is a useful lens when a title with good headline numbers still fails in your lobby.
For operators it is mainly a merchandising signal. Titles with high hit frequency suit new player journeys and bonus play, and belong in different collections from the high volatility set.
