Game curation
Deciding how titles are categorised, tagged, grouped and ordered for players. Done manually it is a permanent staffing cost, because catalogues grow every week. Done automatically it becomes a default an operator overrides where it has an opinion.
Where it belongs
Games
- Terms it sits beside
- Game lobby, Aggregator, Volatility
Part of the Scalara iGaming glossary, written for operators choosing a platform.
What it means for an operator
The cost is not the first thousand games. It is the forty that arrive next week, and the forty after that, every week, forever.
Scalara categorises, tags and places new titles into lobbies and collections on arrival, so the default state of a lobby is organised rather than chronological. Operators override anything they disagree with and build named collections on top.
