Platform
Exactly-once settlement
A guarantee that each bet and each win is recorded once, even when a game provider retries a message after a timeout or a dropped connection. Without it, an operator gets duplicate stakes, duplicate payouts and a monthly reconciliation argument.

What it means for an operator
Retries are normal. Networks fail halfway through a response, providers resend, and a settlement path that treats the second message as a new event produces money that never existed or money that vanished.
Scalara recognises a retried message as the same event and settles it once, whatever order the retries arrive in. It is the difference between a ledger you can close at month end and one somebody repairs by hand.
