Platform

Dedicated deployment

A complete private copy of a platform, running on one operator's own infrastructure and holding only that operator's data, player accounts and branding. It is ownership rather than tenancy, and it changes who answers when a regulator asks where the data lives.

What it means for an operator

The usual objection to a private copy is maintenance. Forks drift, upgrades become migrations, and the operator quietly acquires a platform team. That objection is fair against most implementations.

Scalara sells dedicated deployments that run the same codebase as every other deployment, including our own brands, so an improvement reaches them from the same release. Ask any vendor offering a private instance how many versions of their product are in production. The answer predicts your upgrade path.
