Bonus abuse

Extracting value from a promotion in ways the operator did not intend: multi accounting, low risk betting patterns that clear wagering cheaply, or coordinated groups working an offer. It is usually a terms and enforcement problem rather than a fraud problem.

What it means for an operator

Written terms do not prevent anything on their own. They give you grounds to refuse a withdrawal after the fact, which is expensive, slow and damaging to the brand even when you are right.

Scalara enforces the terms in the engine as play happens: maximum bet while a bonus is active, payout ceilings, per game weighting and grants per player. The abuse case closes itself instead of arriving as a dispute weeks later.
