Audit trail

An append only record of what happened on a platform: who did it, in what role, from where, on what device and when. Its value is not in logging but in reconstruction, which is why partial logs spread across modules rarely survive a regulatory review.

Regulator evidence pack, Zero trust, Withdrawal review

Part of the Scalara iGaming glossary, written for operators choosing a platform.

What it means for an operator

Most platforms can tell you what happened inside one module. An investigation asks what happened across all of them in the same ten minutes, which is a different question.

Scalara records player actions, staff actions and system decisions in one stream on one clock, with the actor, role, location and device attached, and builds regulator evidence packs directly on top of it. Ask any vendor to show you a withdrawal as a sequence of events rather than an outcome.
